Madonna performs novelty version of 'Holiday' with The Roots

Madonna gave one of her earliest hit singles a surprising makeover whilst on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The ‘Rebel Heart’ star was joined by the comedic television host and hip hop band The Roots to give her 1983 song ‘Holiday’ a unique new sound.

The ensemble all donned sunglasses and tropical shirts whilst playing children’s toy instruments to accompany Madonna’s vocals.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show the ‘Living For Love’ singer also performed one of the track’s off of her newest LP titled ‘Bitch, I’m Madonna’ alongside Diplo (see video below).

Earlier this week, Madonna also unveiled the video for her current single ‘Ghosttown’.
