Music icon Madonna will be appearing in an upcoming Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden. 

The Queen of Pop shared a photograph of herself "riding around Manhattan" with the personable host and accompanied the snapshot with the following caption: "Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love 🔥💘🚗🚗 @latelateshow🚗🚗 carpool karaoke 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉."

At the time of writing, no details have been shared as to when the segment will air. 

Madonna, meanwhile, will be honoured with the Woman of the Year title at the 2016 Billboard Women in Music Awards and Janice Min, the president and chief creative officer of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, recently issued a statement on the exciting news:

"Madonna is one of a minuscule number of super-artists whose influence and career transcend music. With her creative vision, relentless innovation, and dedication to philanthropic causes, she is an inspiration to hundreds of millions of people around the world, all while shattering every career record out there."
