Madonna says fans shouldn't complain about expensive gig tickets

Madonna has opened up about the escalating prices of gig tickets and admitted that she doesn't understand why fans compain because people spend money "on crazy things" all the time.

The Queen of Pop, who will unveil her new single on American Idol tonight (February 2) before its release tomorrow, told Newsweek magazine that although tickets to her new tour are likely to be expensive she is "worth it":

"Start saving your pennies now. People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I'm worth it."

In addition to treating fans to the premiere of her new track's video tonight, Madonna is due to perform 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' at the Super Bowl on February 5.
