Some of Madonna's 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' single sales to be discounted

Madonna's new single 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' was offered as a free download to fans who pre-ordered her upcoming new album 'M.D.N.A.', but it has now been confirmed these figures won't affect her chart position.

The Queen of Pop's free download, as offered on Sunday and Monday (February 5, 6), will not contribute to her potential position in this weekend's Top 40 and the Official Charts Company issued a statement on the decision not to include them:

"It was viewed as an incentive to purchase the album before the single went officially on sale on Tuesday, so those sales were discounted. Madonna is climbing up the Official Singles Chart after two days on sale. Should go Top 40 on Sunday."

The track is currently at No.30 on the UK iTunes singles charts, but failed to make an appearance during Wednesday's (February 8) midweek update.
