Madonna on 'MDNA': 'It's unapologetically happy and will make my fans dance'

The Queen of Pop has opened up about her highly-anticipated new album 'MDNA' and confessed that she simply wanted to make music that was "unapologetically happy".

Speaking to In Toronto magazine earlier this month, Madonna explained that it was important to her to have fun with her new record and she decided to relieve the stress of making her film 'W.E.' with great pop tracks that would make her fans dance:

"I didn't want to do anything too serious because the film was so taxing for me on an artistic level. Plus it's fun. I think that the fans are going to love it. I can't wait to get up there and dance and sing."

"I wanted to make an album that was unapologetically happy. I think we all need to dance a bit more these days."

The pop icon will release 'MDNA' in a few weeks (March 26) and has already unveiled two songs from the album, namely 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' and 'Girl Gone Wild'.
