The Queen of Pop has admitted that she forgives Sir Elton John for his recent outburst, in which he branded her a "fairground stripper".

His comments were made earlier this month during an interview on Australian television where he criticised Madonna's career, style and current MDNA tour:

"Why is she such a nightmare? Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***. If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly."

"But no, she had to go and prove... she looks like a f****** fairground stripper. She's been horrible to Gaga."

Just a couple of weeks later, Madonna addressed Sir Elton's remarks while on stage in Nice where she dedicated her song 'Masterpiece' to him and TMZ reports that she told the audience:

"I know he's a big fan of it. And I know he's a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere."
