The Queen of Pop has finally joined the next big thing in social media and opened an Instagram account under the name 'Madonna'.

At the moment (February 11), Madonna has posted a total of 7 photographs but has already attracted an impressive 66,000 followers.

The pictures she has shared so far include several live shots taken on her recent MDNA tour and there are also a couple of more personal shots, that show her drinking a martini and wearing a fake moustache. Three photos are dated from the past three days, but the remaining four were uploaded back in November 2012.

The 'Like A Prayer' icon's manager, Guy O'Seay confirmed the account is hers and tweeted (February 10): "#Madonna welcome to Instagram. Now I can see what you're up to when I'm not around!"
