Madonna warned by Instagram and threatened with account deactivation

The Queen of Pop recently joined photo sharing site Instagram, but her stay might be short-lived as she has received a stern letter from the company warning her about the inappropriate content of some of her pictures.

So far, Madonna has only shared 20 photos with her 169,000 followers but a couple of them show off her cleavage and backside, while some of the others she didn't take herself.

As a result of the nature of the images, Instagram informed the 'Girl Gone Wild' superstar that her account may be deactivated if she doesn't abide by the rules.

She then shared a screenshot of the email sent to her by Instagram (shown below), which has now had over 8,500 'likes' along with a range of supportive comments from fans who described the warning letter as "ridiculous" and 'attention seeking'.
