Mariah Carey has revealed the release date of her forthcoming album.

The singer will unleash her next album on May 5 in the UK and May 6 in the US.

It will be preceded by the single 'You're Mine (Eternal)' on February 12, which will debut on MTV.

The news was revealed in a new promo video advertising her two new releases.

The album, which will be her 14th studio effort, was originally thought to have been called 'The Art of Letting Go', but the clip does not name her record.

That title, however, was used for Carey's previous single, which followed up her Miguel duet '#Beautiful'.
