Mariah Carey admits pregnancy difficulties: 'It wasn't easy'

Mariah Carey has revealed that she had a tough pregnancy.

The singer gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011 alongside now estranged husband Nick Cannon.

Speaking in a UK exclusive TV interview with Good Morning Britain, the US star detailed some of the ailments she encountered as a result of the pregnancy.

Carey said: "The pregnancy itself, it was very difficult. I had gestational diabetes, I had preeclampsia, I had all these things you don't even want to know about.

"Anyone who's ever had twins, I salute you - seriously anybody out there - because it's not easy!"

The singer meanwhile recently performed a mash-up her 1990 song 'Vision of Love' and new track 'Infinity' on Jimmy Kimmel's US talk show.
