Superstar and 'American Idol' panelist Mariah Carey has admitted that she never thought she would have children until she met her husband, Nick Cannon.

In an interview with In Touch, the songstress explained that her career had always been her priority until she began dating the TV host, who changed her perspective on life:

"I never thought I'd experience motherhood. My career was my life. When you find the right person, you (want to) go through with it."

Speaking about her children, twin babies Moroccan and Monroe, Carey revealed they're both developing strong personalities:

"He's my little buddy. We watch movies together. He can be a little more aggressive, but not in a bad way – he'll give his sister a little tap when she's trying to give him a hug. Monroe is just a sweetie. I'm so in love. Every moment is just incredible."
