The vocal veteran is unleashing the track 'Almost Home' for the upcoming Disney film Oz The Great and The Powerful.

The song is due to be released on February 19 but she has given fans a special preview ahead of its full unveiling.

Carey posted a 30-second sample of the track on her Soundcloud as she prepares for the next chapter in her music career.

The singer recently issued the cover artwork for the single, which can be seen below.

The Disney film is due to be released on March 8 and stars the likes of Mila Kunis and James Franco.
