Mariah Carey is giving fans the chance to win a one-on-one concert experience as part of a charity auction.

In order to raise funds for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Mariah Carey is offering one prize winner and a guest flights to New York for Valentine’s Day and a private performance at her home in exchange for charity donations via Prizeo.

Writing on the Prizeo website, the ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ singer said:

“I've decided to give back and raise some funds for the incredible St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause very close to my heart as a mom.”

She continued: “In exchange for a small donation, you will be entered to win a trip to New York City (I'll fly you from WHEREVER you are in the world) to visit me in my home, where I will give you and a loved one your very own private concert... on Valentine's Day!”

Earlier this year Britney Spears also asked fans to donate money to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
