Billboard.com has announced that Marilyn Manson’s video for ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’ is the scariest in the world beating Michael Jackson’s theatrical ‘Thriller’ and Aphex Twin’s unnerving ‘Come to Daddy’.

Billboard.com explain its number one choice by explaining, "When he (Manson) donned a ballerina costume and cut himself, rode a pig and convulsed uncontrollably in the video ... he really freaked people out."

The band’s disjointed and rather macabre reworking of Eurythmics’ classic has a few extra lyric additions including, "I wanna use you and abuse you / I wanna know what's inside you."

The video has impressively racked up over fifteen million hits on YouTube and helped establish the band with a more mainstream audience.
