Mark Ronson equals US chart record

Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' has matched a US chart record set by LeAnn Rimes.

The Brit's 2014 track - which features Bruno Mars - has now spent 25 weeks in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100.

It has now equalled the 25-week period LeAnn Rimes' 'How Do I Live' enjoyed in 1997.

'Uptown Funk' features on Ronson's 2014 record 'Uptown Special'.

The tune was streamed 26.9 million times in the UK in 2014 to make it the country's most streamed track of the year.

It also reached No.1 in the UK.
