Mark Ronson has hinted that he is involved with Adele's new album

Mark Ronson has suggested that he has worked with Adele on her next record.

Talk of the superstar singer's new material intensified on Sunday (October 18) after a mysterious snippet of a new track was played on TV.

The clip, which was broadcast during an advert break on the X Factor, featured just music and the text of the lyrics.

Speaking to the Mirror, Ronson hinted that he has been involved in the making of Adele's next record.

He said: “I didn’t have anything to do with the song.

"I can’t reveal anything [about the album] until she does, it’s her thing."

Adele's last album came in the shape of 2011's smash hit '21'.

The record has become one of the best-selling records of all time in the UK and the US.

The singer has taken time out of music since giving birth to her first child in 2012.
