THE SAW DOCTORS KICK OFF 2012 WITH OLYMPIA HEADLINER

With their current single DOWNTOWN featuring Petula Clark topping the airplay charts and  tipped for the Christmas Number 1, The Saw Doctors have announced an Olympia Theatre date on Saturday 28th of January.
 
As a budget special and a Christmas Thank You to their Dublin fans , 300 of the tickets are priced at €22.00 including booking fee and go on sale this Friday, 9 December from Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.ie at 9.09.

The Saw Doctors will release a Christmas single, Downtown featuring Petula Clark, the original singer of the 1965 hit, on Friday December 16.  Petula, who lives in Geneva these days, recorded the new version of Downtown in London with The Saw Doctors at the end of August, and filmed her part of the Eugene O'Connor video for Downtown in Paris with the Tuam lads last month. The Saw Doctors are currently playing a sell out UK Tour  which finishes up at the Manchester Apollo on Saturday December 17. The 18 date Tour marks the bands 20th consecutive year to tour the UK and includes shows in London, Glasgow, Leeds and Bristol. 

In February The Saw Doctors will embark on a 6 week coast to coast US Tour to launch their recent studio album, The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors. Starting in PonteVedre in Florida, The Saw Doctors will play 30 shows across America finishing up in Doug Weston’s legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles on Sunday 1st April.
