Melanie C believes Little Mix need to tone down their "provocative" style.

The group are often likened to the Spice Girls, but they have sometimes come under fire for wearing risque clothing.

Speaking to the Sunday People, Melanie C said she feels Little Mix need to rein in their style.

She said: "I love Little Mix. I loved them from The X Factor. I just thought they were so different.

"But they are getting more provocative. To me, they were kind of the closest thing to the Spice Girls we've seen.

"They are all gorgeous and great singers. But they weren't sexy and it's got more and more that way. I love them – but I just say, 'Stay you'."

Melanie C meanwhile announced a new UK tour on Monday (October 17). Tickets will go on sale from 10am on October 21.
