Mel C reunites with Emma Bunton in the studio for a collaboration

Spice Girls star Mel C has confirmed that her forthcoming new studio album will feature a collaboration with her former bandmate, Emma Bunton.

The 'I Turn To You' hitmaker took to her official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (July 6) and told her followers that she has recorded an exciting duet with Bunton, writing:

"*Drum roll* I am very proud to announce my beautiful friend @EmmaBunton has duetted with me for me new album Stages #babyandsporty!! Me and @EmmaBunton and have recorded the fantastic,'I know him so well' Singing together again is amazing and emotional. Love you baby! x"

Bunton, known as Baby Spice, also tweeted about the new working partnership and revealed that it was emotional to be creating music together again:

"Being back in the recording studio with the amazing @MelanieCmusic was emotional and brought back so many memories!!!! Loved it!!"
