Mel C says Spice Girls reunion was a bit "weird"

Mel C has revealed that getting all the original band members together for the recent Spice Girls reunion was a bit "weird".

The popular 90s girl group indulged in a rare reunion earlier this month (August 12) to play at the London 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony.

It was the first time that the quintet have performed together since their world reunion tour in 2007 and 2008.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Mel C admitted that having all the original members together again was a bit "weird".

She said, however, that any issues that they had in the past have now been put to bed. Mel C said:

"It was weird being together. We hadn't all been together since we finished the tour. We'd seen each other, but in splinter groups. There's been a lot written about Melanie [Brown] and Victoria's relationship, but we've all had certain issues with different members of the group at different times."

She continued: "We can be really blunt with each other and sometimes that can be upsetting. We had issues, but we get over them."
