Sub Focus, aka Nick Douwma has long been one of electronic music’s most talked about names and he returns with a brand new single Tidal Wave, featuring UK rock duo Alpines , out November 5th and a highly anticipated live show at London’s Electric in Brixton on the 7th December. 

Sub Focus’ iconic light rig, new for 2012, which has amazed festival goers (Coachella, Lovebox, Global Gathering, V, Creamfields and Bestival to name a few) since its first introduction, will sit centre stage inside Electric Brixton auditorium, creating the perfect atmosphere for a live performance.  Recognised as one of the finest live performers the industry has to offer, this exclusive performance will feature a full spectrum of bass music played live using the most mind-blowing production and equipment. This is a performance that is not to be missed by any bass music fan.

Incorporating some of the most developed technology used today, Sub Focus’ live set up is one of the leading and most sophisticated on show to date, including epic visuals and hypnotic lighting sequences. After being heavily involved on the design, he is able to manipulate motion sensors and touchpads to trigger musical effect, with surrounding LED’s pulsating to the same beat of the basslines – astonishingly all under his control. This is truly an amazing spectacle for the eyes as well as ears, causing it to be one of the most hyped live shows of 2012.

His new single Tidal Wave looks set to propel Sub Focus into the mainstream and is the second single to be released from his highly anticipated sophomore album set for release Spring 2013 on Mercury / Ram Records.

The last release from Sub Focus was the summer anthem Out The Blue that was Nick’s first chart breakthrough from the new album, charting at #23. Preceding that was Falling Down, a free download available from his website which has seen over 100,000 downloads and tremendous support from Radio 1.
