Mika wants One Direction collaboration: 'I could go all out'

'Grace Kelly' hitmaker Mika has confessed that he has his eye on a collaboration with one of the UK's hottest boybands.

Although no plans have been set in motion for the desired duet, Mika told Entertainmentwise that he'd love to team up with 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars One Direction because he could "go all out":

"As a songwriter I think it would be really fun to write something for a boyband because you'd really be able to go all out. I really want to write the perfect boyband pop song, I'd love to write a song with One Direction!"

He also added that he recently bumped into Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber, who had unusually soft hands: "I met Justin Bieber and I shook his hand. He's got really soft hands. He's really nice, just a nice kid."

Mika's forthcoming new album, titled 'The Origin Of Love', is due to be released on September 16 and will be preceeded by the lead single, 'Celebrate', on September 9. He is also scheduled to showcase tracks from the new record at London's Heaven club on July 26.
