Miley Cyrus hits back at 'Bangerz' tour complaints: 'You can't say I didn't warn you'

Pop superstar Miley Cyrus is currently on tour promoting her new album 'Bangerz', but the raunchy live show has attracted a host of complaints from concerned parents.

Her new performance includes barely-there costumes, provocative dancing, and other risqué stage elements, but parents have slammed the set for being inappropriate for Cyrus's younger fans.

Hitting back at the complaints, she posted a photograph of herself (shown below) wearing a skimpy outfit to her official Twitter page and accompanied it with the caption:

"You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour."

"Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that'".

Earlier this month, she told the press that her tour will be 'educational for kids': "Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They're going to be exposed to art most people don’t know about. People are taught to look at things so black and white, especially in small towns. I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn’t be accepted, where kids wouldn’t learn about this different kind of art."

She will bring her 'Bangerz' tour to the UK in May and will perform at London's O2 Arena, Leeds' First Direct Arena, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Manchester's Phones 4U Arena, and Belfast's Odyssey Arena. Tickets are on sale now.
