A rep for Miley Cyrus has laughed off suggestion that the singer could be headed for the X Factor.

Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are set to return to the UK TV talent show this year and speculation has been rife about who else will be signed up.

Miley Cyrus's name has cropped up but a rep told the Daily Mail that there is no chance of the singer becoming an X Factor judge.

They said: "Simon has more chance of getting Elvis or Gandhi as a judge. There have been no talks with Miley. She is currently on a world tour in the US. Miley is one of the biggest artists in the world, she has no intention of going to be a judge on the show.

"It is the last thing on her mind, Miley is having the time of her life. She has been offered the role of judge on lots of talent shows in the States in the past but she's never been interested."

Cyrus is currently touring North America on her Bangerz Tour before taking the show to Europe in May.
