Miley Cyrus has received a boost in hospital after MTV made a new advert especially for her.

The singer is currently under the weather after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

She was forced into cancelling two Bangerz tour shows this week before later postponing another pair of concerts.

Cyrus is still in hospital, but her spirits were lifted after learning that MTV created their own 'get well soon' message.

The short clip sees the singer in animated form as the broadcaster makes fun of her sticking her tongue out.

The 'We Can't Stop' star retweeted a clip of the advert today (April 18) before saying:

"Sick of waking up to needles."
