Man denies burgling Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home before Christmas

A man has pleaded not guilty to charges of burgling Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home.

The singer's Toluca Lake was broken into on December 16 and items belonging to the US star and her brother were taken.

Rusty Sellner was arrested on Monday (January 5) and charged with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property.

However, he has denied all of the charges. The maximum penalty is nearly eight years in jail.

Cyrus meanwhile also had her San Fernando Valley home broken into in May.

In that instance, items such as jewellery and clothes were taken as well as a car, which was later recovered.
