Miley Cyrus: 'People try to make me seem less balanced than I am'

Pop sensation Miley Cyrus has revealed that people shouldn't take her social media persona so seriously.

Speaking to ET Online about her strong online presence, the superstar confessed that if she doesn't post anything online for a couple of days, people start worrying about her and wondering where she is:

"When I'm actually busy and having a life -- people don't know what's happening. People will literally text me and ask me if I'm okay."

"My managers are always like, 'Are you okay? Are you on this planet? Because we haven't heard from you, we haven't seen any Instagram posts.'"

The 'We Can't Stop' songstress added that she's tired of people assuming things about her personality from the kinds of things she shares on social media sites:

"I think people try to make me seem a lot less centered than I am. You make choices and sometimes they're right, sometimes they're wrong just like in life. Mine are magnified and people kind of try to make you seem out of control when actually I'm a pretty, happy, centered person that likes to do a lot of things for people."
