Miley Cyrus criticises Taylor Swift's 'violent' 'Bad Blood' video

Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has revealed that she has a problem with Taylor Swift's music video for 'Bad Blood' because it's so unapologetically violent.

During a new interview with Marie Claire magazine, the beauty criticised Swift's video and suggested that she doesn't understand why it's always her that gets singled out as a bad role model because at least she isn't using violent imagery in her music videos:

"I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns."

Cyrus, meanwhile, is confirmed to host this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which is set to take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on August 30. The America's Parents Television Council organisation has slammed MTV for choosing Cyrus because it thinks that she is too 'out there' for the role.

Tim Winter from the group told Gossip Cop that Cyrus is far too "edgy" for the job: "I think it's unfortunate she built her entire career on the backs of parents and now she's basically giving them the middle finger... She's smart. She's talented. She knows how to turn it up, turn it down if she so chooses... It's not going to be safe for children to watch... With Miley's shtick, it's probably going to be very edgy, very profane, very sexually explicit..."
