Songstress Miley Cyrus has been confirmed to host an upcoming episode of America's 'Saturday Night Live'. 

The 'We Can't Stop' sensation is set to host the October 3 episode and other hosts that were announced today (August 17) include Tracy Morgan, who is known for his role as Tracy Jordan on '30 Rock', and 'Trainwreck' star Amy Schumer. This will be Cyrus' third time hosting SNL.

Cyrus, meanwhile, will host this year's MTV Video Music Awards ceremony on August 30 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

She recently told Marie Claire that while she's excited to be working on cosmetics projects with MAC, her ultimate goal is to make a real difference: "I'm probably never going to be the face of a traditional beauty company unless they want a weed-smoking, liberal-ass freak. But my dream was never to sell lip gloss. My dream is to save the world."
