Miley Cyrus was among the stars rooting for Hillary Clinton during Monday's (September 26) US presidential TV debate.

The Democrat came up against Republican Donald Trump in the first televised debate ahead of November's election.

Cyrus took to Twitter to proclaim her support for Clinton and posted a picture of herself in front of a TV.

She wrote: "#trumpedup #imwithher #firstpresidentialdebate2016 #imf*ckinscared #HClookinbeauty #speakinbeauty #LOVE #VOTE #debates @HillaryClinton."

The singer wasn't the only high profile music star to speak out in support of Clinton.

Katy Perry took to Instagram to state that she will release a nude video today (September 27) in an attempt to "change the world".
