Miley Cyrus and Blink-182 honoured by peta2 for devotion to animal rightsMiley Cyrus and Blink-182 have been honoured by peta2, which is People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)'s youth division, for their animal rights' activism. The 'Wrecking Ball' sensation has been crowned the Best Voice for Animals while Blink-182 were named the most Animal-Friendly band of 2016. peta2's senior director Marta Holmberg explained that it was an easy decision to recognise this particular group of stars: "Today’s hottest stars don’t hesitate to take time out from judging a hit television show or dropping a highly anticipated album in order to speak up for animals. peta2 is recognising Miley Cyrus, Davey Havok, blink-182, and other celebrities who are encouraging fans to eat vegan, shop cruelty-free, and more.” Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
