Miley Cyrus defends herself on Twitter over weight criticism

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has hit out not only at cyber bullying in general, but at the recent criticism she has faced over her slight weight gain.

The 'Party In The USA' singer took to her official Twitter account over the weekend (November 12) to tell her fans that luckily she has the body confidence to not take harsh comments to heart, but they can really affect others in a serious way:

"I love MYSELF & if you could say the same. I don't wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man wont mind either ;)"

Her friend and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato spoke up and reached out to Cyrus, telling her "whoever called you that (fat) has it coming", to which Cyrus replied:

"AMEN! I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! #werkthosecurves".

Cyrus also followed up the Twitter messages by posting a shocking photograph of an emaciated woman with the caption: "By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people."
