Miley Cyrus defends Justin Bieber

Miley Cyrus has backed Justin Bieber amid criticism of the Canadian's personal life.

The 'Believe' star has endured some tough times this year, with late stage appearances and a photographer scrap hitting the headlines.

Bieber also regularly comes under fire for getting topless too often, especially on Instagram.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, Miley Cyrus lamented the fact that some people take it upon themselves to decide how the singer should act. She said:

"[It's like] Bieber, don't do that. Bieber, you're going to end up behind bars. Bieber, don't do that sexy face. I can't walk through LAX with no top on. I love that he does that."

Cyrus added: "The only thing you can do is take your shoes off going through security in an airport."

The 'Party in the USA' star is currently in the UK to promote her latest single 'We Can't Stop', despite revealing on Twitter that she only had one hour of sleep before going on air at the BBC with Nick Grimshaw.
