Miley Cyrus gives advice to people who want to be famous

'We Can't Stop' songstress Miley Cyrus has revealed that if she had to give words of wisdom to aspiring music stars she would tell them to experience life so they have something worthwhile to write about.

During an interview with the BBC, the beauty explained that it's so important to live before trying to create a persona for yourself in order to become famous:

"I've got a good house, I can lock myself away and do whatever I want. That's the key; I always say that to people who say they wanna be famous."

"I'm like, 'Lock yourself away, go do your thing and then come out where you've lived your life.' Because as an artist you have to do that, otherwise you have nothing to say. How can you sing about going out and partying if you never go out and have real friends?"

She added that her relatability comes from the fact that she lives a very ordinary life: "I think that's why people connect to me so much; because they know I'm doing the exact same stuff they're doing."
