Miley Cyrus unveils 'Bangerz' album artwork

'We Can't Stop' hitmaker Miley Cyrus surprised fans around the globe earlier this morning (August 25) after sharing the official artwork for her forthcoming new record, 'Bangerz'.

She uploaded the image to her Twitter page (pictured below) and accompanied it with the caption: "You know the vintage YSL don't stay on for long #bangerz #october8."

In addition to treating her followers with the cover art, Cyrus also unveiled a new track from the album called 'Wrecking Ball'.

This offering has a more anthemic appeal than her already incredibly successful debut single from the collection and starts off by showcasing her impressive vocal ability before building into a powerful drum-led chorus with emotive lyrics.

'Bangerz' is due to be released on October 8 and, as previously confirmed, it will include collaborations with Big Sean, Ludacris and Pharrell Williams. Cyrus, meanwhile, will perform tonight at the 2013 MTV VMAs.
