'Wrecking Ball' beauty Miley Cyrus has opened up about her recent transformation and confessed that she might seem a little on the wild side because she had to grow up really fast and never enjoyed a proper childhood.

The hitmaker told Harper's Bazaar that having a successful acting and singing career as a child, in Disney's 'Hannah Montana', she was never allowed the opportunity to mess around and act like a typical youngster so, instead, she's going through that phase now as a 20-year-old:

"I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I'm an adult and I'm acting like a kid."

"My parents always had money, and I've always been around this industry, so I didn't have my mind blown or become obsessed with being famous."

Referring to her recent success with 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball', Cyrus added that her career isn't something that bothers her because she's more concerned with the 'real' issues in life: "I'm someone who cares about the real things in life. There are things that are personal that stress me out, but my career? That doesn't affect me. I know what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm not scared of anything."
