During her new and in-depth interview with America's Rolling Stone magazine, pop superstar Miley Cyrus revealed that she wants to get herself booked onto one of Virgin Galactic's spaceships. 

Speaking to the interview, she revealed that she's hoping to be allowed a seat because one of her friends invested in Richard Branson's ambitious project:

"I’ve always dreamed of going into space. I'm going to go at some point. Virgin Galactic is taking a ship up next year — I'm trying to get on there right now. I've got a friend who invested in it, and he can kind of hook it up. I want to be one of the first ones."

"I thought the only way I would ever be allowed to go to space was if I was an astronaut. I never thought it was gonna be, like, a plane trip. At some point it's gonna be a normal fare. Right now it's like a billion dollars. But at some point it's gonna be like going to Australia."
