Morrissey autobiography set to be a huge success

The Smiths star Morrissey recently released an autobiography and a spokesperson for book retailer Waterstones has predicted that it will be a great success commercially.

The publication, entitled 'Morrissey: Autobiography', went on sale earlier this week and contains confessions about the musician's personal and professional life.

Jon Howells, spokesman for the Waterstones book store chain, told the Associated Press that sales of the book are expected to be high in the run up to Christmas:

"In Britain, he is one of our icons. His is the great untold story from the '80s generation of music heroes."

Morrissey's book has also been at No.1 on the Amazon Top Seller's list since it was unveiled yesterday (October 17).

As previously reported by Pressparty, he opens up about a relationship he had with a man and explained that they were very committed for a while: "Jake and I fell together in deep collusion whereby the thorough and personal could be the only possible way and we ate up each minute of the day. There will be no secrets of flesh or fantasy; he is me and I am he."
