Muse to start writing new album in May

Muse have revealed that they will start work on their next record in May.

The UK rockers' last album came in the shape of 'The 2nd Law', which was released in 2012.

They have now told KROQ that their new record sessions will get underway next month, with a possible release in 2015.

Drummer Dom Howard told the radio station at the Coachella Festival:

"We're going to start this year...[Coachella] is our last two gigs, then we're completely done for touring this album. We're going to go back in May and start working on some new stuff, so I think we'll start making it this year.

"If we can get something out this year, that would be great, but definitely next year."
