Muse reveal 'UFO' plans for 2013 outdoor concerts

British rock trio Muse have opened up about the kind of stage show they are aiming to have for their gigs next year.

In an interview with Q magazine, the 'Plug In Baby' superstars explained that they would love to go all-out on an extravagant stage set up complete with a UFO-shaped "Zeppelin". Bellamy said: "One day I'm going to get a huge Zeppelin shaped like a UFO to land. I've been trying for years but no one will let us."

He also spoke about how his confidence has grown as a frontman and added that when he plays live now he surprises himself:

"I'd been quite an introverted person in the early years of the band. I was actually having a lot of trouble coming out of myself. Over the course of the first three albums I gradually opened up, and something came out of me, a strange level of confidence that I didn't know was there. In live performance there was just a desire to smash this shy person."

Muse have been confirmed to perform at this year's iTunes Festival and will headline London's Roundhouse venue on September 30, before embarking upon an October arena tour of the UK.
