25th April, London:- Cooking Vinyl Group has grown its ranks with the appointment of Verity Griffiths as Head of Sync.

Griffiths will work across the Cooking Vinyl Records and Publishing roster, maximising sync opportunities across all platforms including adverts, film, TV and games, and ensuring the company’s repertoire is fully exploited.  She reports to Paul Kinder, Managing Director of London-based Cooking Vinyl Publishing.

Griffiths joins Cooking Vinyl after eight years at Ministry Of Sound, including five years in sync licensing. Having started out as a licensing assistant in 2006, a number of significant promotions saw Griffiths assume the role of Licensing & International Manager in May 2012.

Furthermore she recently designed and launched a new Ministry Of Sound sync website for music supervisors, aimed at growing the business.

Paul Kinder, Managing Director Cooking Vinyl Publishing, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Verity to the Cooking Vinyl Group. Her expertise in all areas of sync licensing is going to be of huge benefit to our artists and writers, and I can’t wait to start seeing the results from that.”

Verity Griffiths noted: I’m really excited to be joining Cooking Vinyl. The company has such a diverse roster, and I’m really looking forward to getting my teeth into the wealth of back catalogue and forthcoming releases including Embrace, James and The Prodigy.”
