London - The Ultimate Seminar returns on November 21st with its definitive annual round-up of insider knowledge for making it in the music industry. Now in its sixth year, the Cre8ing Vision Ltd devised event has been run in association with the University of Westminster for the last three years. It’s a free event which this year sees representatives from the industry’s foremost record labels, A&R’s, music publishers, management teams and songwriters assemble for one day, adding their music-business acumen to a comprehensive programme packed with industry insight.

The Ultimate Seminar, in association with the University of Westminster, will present panel discussions chaired by renowned and credible industry leaders, aimed at empowering and mobilising young creatives to take steps towards fulfilling their musical aspirations. Guest speakers will include Jo Charrington, A&R (Capitol Records) for Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith; Denzyl Feigelson, Apple iTunes Music Synergist and Live Events & Artist Relations; chart-topping grime music and electro producer Diztortion; Glyn Aikins, Director of A&R at Virgin EMI Records UK who has developed the likes of Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy and Krept & Konan; and Mark Williamson of Spotify.

Topics on the day will span inspiration, creative breakthroughs and business know-how, with panel chairs to include PRS’ Membership Development Director Myles Keller, BBC Radio presenter Nihal Arthanayake, i-D Magazine Music Editor Hattie Collins, BMI label boss Simon Aldridge and Capital Xtra DJ Manny Norte. Attendees will have the unparalleled opportunity to pose questions to panellists, witness inspirational film screenings and take away valuable advice to help them forge pathways towards successful careers in music.
