Eat Drink Ealing back for its second course

London, 31st May 2017:- Eat Drink Ealing today announces that the delicious and diverse festival will return to Ealing Common on the weekend of the 1st & 2nd July, transforming the borough’s park into a culinary paradise for a second year running.

Run by established food festival group Eat Drink, Ealing will host a walking banquet of over 30 top-of-the-range and hand-selected gourmet traders, including artisanal chocolatiers Fine Kentish Chocs, paella pros Spanish Homemade, and small-batch bakers McCarthy Country Stores, with many more still to be announced, allowing festival-goers to globetrot between a diverse range of cuisines in just a matter of paces.

Attendees will also be able to quench their thirst with refreshing, artisan beverages from the likes of Kent Cider Company, offering everything from award-winning Kentish cider to a perfectly crafted cocktail. 2017 will also see the introduction of a dedicated wine tasting area brought to you by German winemakers Pieroth.

Besides the delectable treats and delicious cocktails, Eat Drink Ealing will also feature an exciting programme of entertainment, catering to kids and adults alike. Whether it’s cookery courses offering the chance to produce something ready to eat and participate in a variety of experiments, educational activities teaching the importance of food hygiene (courtesy of the University of West London), a traditional funfair, or the playpen provided by local nursery, Bumblebees, parents can rest assured that the kids will be more than occupied as you take in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes that Eat Drink Ealing has to offer.

Throughout the weekend, a bandstand will provide the soundtrack to your afternoon, offering an eclectic programme that will take you from the folk sounds of Ed Sheeran’s support act Kal Lavelle and the catchy indie pop of Me and The Moon, to guitarist Ramon Goose’s West African blues and the choral arrangements of local Ealing Rock Choir.
