Natasha Bedingfield confirms exciting Country Music Awards duet

Natasha Bedingfield has revealed that she will join country stars Rascal Flatts on stage at this year's Country Music Awards.

The singer, known more for her pop-infused hits such as 'These Words' and 'Unwritten', features on the group's single 'Easy' and confirmed that they will perform it together at the 2011 CMAs in Nashville on November 9.

"I may be at the Country Music awards, because I'm singing with Rascal Flatts on the single 'Easy.' I'm not sure if I was allowed to say that, or if that was a surprise that I just gave away!"

She also spoke about the track, which marks her first foray into the country music scene, and told Billboard.com that it's the kind of song she can really get lost in:

"'Easy' is definitely the type of song that I feel like I lose myself in. It's a very emotive song. It's just about when you're feeling very strong emotions and you have to hide them and pretend that you're fine… It's a whole new area for me to explore."
