Haley Ryan confirmed as new co-presenter of Moorlands New Country show

Moorlands New Country 103.7 FM today announced Haley Ryan as the new co-presenter of the Sunday new country music show (Sunday 2-4pm), starting on Sunday 18th September.

Haley Ryan is a singer songwriter who has been on the UK country scene for just over 18 months and was recently nominated as UK Female Country Singer of the Year and also UK Country Artist of the Year. Haley will be taking over from the show’s long-time co-host Narn, who is moving to Liverpool after being accepted into LIPA.

Haley Ryan says: “I am so excited and humbled to be asked to do this show. I am a huge fan of country music and as an artist myself it is amazing to be in a position to help other unknown talent get heard. To be following in the footsteps of Narn, a friend and artist that I respect and admire enormously, is a huge honour and I can’t wait to get started.”

Narn says: “When I was 16, the lovely Maxine Lewis connected me with Mark over Facebook, and Mark invited me into the studio for an interview and a live session, so I took my guitar and headed into Moorlands Radio, and I had no idea how amazing the next 2 years would be.

Narn joined Moorlands New Country two years ago and her last show with co-host Mark Emery was on Sunday 21st August.
