'Starships' hitmaker Nicki Minaj has revealed that she has something of an obsession with taking selfies and she has to shoot multiple photographs of herself to get just one decent image that she would be happy to share with the world.

She made the confession during an interview with Power 106 and admitted that taking the perfect picture of yourself is a challenge and usually takes a lot of time and effort: "You've got to shoot at least 2,000 selfies to get at least one [to post]."

Minaj, meanwhile, recently debuted her new single 'Pills N Potions' (artwork shown above left) and opened up about the track, explaining that it's kind of a 'tragic love story': ”It’s kind of like a tragic love story… I just kind of feel like when I was working on the album, I started realising how much things have changed, how much people change."

She added: "And how people come in and out of your life… I’ve just been reflecting a lot. I love that it has that feeling of ‘No matter what, I still love. There’s still love there.’"
