Nicki Minaj talks up Beyoncé and Jay Z inspiration

Nicki Minaj says Beyoncé and Jay Z represent everything she wants to be in terms of artistry.

The rapper recently teamed up with the 'Drunk In Love' star on stage in Paris to run through their new remix of her track 'Flawless'.

The collaboration seems to have had a major impact on Minaj, who told SkyRock that the singer and husband Jay Z are two of her biggest influences in music.

The former American Idol judge said: "It was very emotional for me to be there because it was a big show, the last big Beyoncé and Jay-Z [tour show], so I was very honoured to be a part of it. To me, they represent drive and passion and they represent everything that I would like to be, in terms of being an artist and a businesswoman at the same time."

The rapper, who is due to release her new album 'The Pink Print' on November 24, added that the duet has given her extra encouragement to tour with her own show:

"It made me feel great, it made me want to come back with my own tour, which we're doing at the top of the year. I can't wait to give fans a full show of my own."
