Nicki Minaj's new album faces considerable delay

Nicki Minaj has confirmed that her forthcoming new album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', has been pushed back considerably and will now be released in April.

On January 21, the 'Super Bass' hitmaker took to her official Twitter page and explained to fans that there is a significant delay facing the record, which was originally due to be unveiled on Valentine's Day (February 14), although she has lots of "surprises" for her fans to make up for the change of plans:

"New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED. But have no fear. Tons of surprises before then ;). Love Always, HB."

Luckily for her Barbz, she will still be going on a promotional tour in support of the new offering and is set to return to the UK on February 20 where she will stay until February 29, and Minaj will also perform at the 2012 GRAMMYs
