Nicki Minaj reveals waitressing hell

Rapper Nicki Minaj stopped by the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno over the weekend and opened up about a past job she had as a waitress at a popular U.S. chain restaurant.

The 'Starships' sensation revealed that she used to wait tables at Red Lobster when she was 19-years-old and really didn't like the customer-facing role because the general public always ended up annoying her:

"They always want too much bread. That’s what bothered me. You guys, please, if you go to Red Lobster, stop ordering extra bread."

"We’re so busy in the kitchen and it’s like, the kitchen is hot, we’re waiting for your orders, and have another table. And we go to the table thinking it’s a big emergency and they’re like: ‘Can we have some more bread?’”

She also explained that she managed to treat herself to a BMW with the tips she made although one customer in particular left her a note which read, "lose the glasses".

Minaj then treated the audience to a live rendition of her forthcoming new single 'Pound The Alarm'.
