Nicki Minaj has blasted reports that she demanded 'shorter grass' when she recently performed at T In The Park.

The 29-year-old was rumoured to have thrown a tantrum after seeing the length of grass around her dressing room area at the Scottish festival earlier this month, but in an interview with Australia’s Sunday Herald Sun, she strongly denied such claims:

"I hope whoever made that lie up chokes to death. It's the most absurd thing I've heard printed about me in a very long time. Who gives two f---s about someone's grass? I was wearing my wellies and it was all mud.”

The ‘Starships’ singer, who earlier this week unveiled footage from her 'Pound The Alarm' video, went on to add:

"I would never tell anyone to cut grass. I don't give two s---s about anyone's grass.

"I went to the festival happy to have an outdoors-y type experience. Why would I go somewhere and ask somebody to cut grass?

"It's sad because I can't defend myself against these lies.''
